As we flick the switches on our heating systems to ON it may feel like only cold, drab days lie ahead of us. But fear not, fashion156 is in an upbeat mood and this issue we inject some bright tones onto our pages. If the thought of bright colours has you reaching for the paracetemol, you will be pleased to hear a huge look this season is to work bright colours with black. On our fashion pages we show all the options and layer brights over more subdued pieces to make them slightly more practical. Bold jewellery, leather gloves and lots of textural knit accessories add an edge. Gorgeous dresses we have dressed down, also work dressed up too, and could easily take you through into the party season .
We have taken note of your comments and on our MOST WANTED page we showcase looks from the High Street and designer stores, so there are now "got-to-haves" for all budgets. We also regularly feature great high street buys on our daily blog.
For boys we push the looks and feature a bright yellow cardigan, an emerald green v-neck and a red zip-front jacket, but keep it in perspective by mixing in lots of black. For fashion156 colour really is the key to keeping things interesting this season and if you stick to classic cuts they need not be a one-season-wonder.
Our blog is updated daily with all the hottest news, people we meet on the street and observations from our team of contributors and is a great barometer of what is really happening in fashion. If you want to know what is going on with style in London , be sure to check it out.
I hope you enjoy The Coloured Issue
